a vision of winter

i was bathing today, and a vision came to me. winter - my beloved winter! snow whirling and freezing my tears to my face as i fall to my knees... the blinding white, powdery drifts of snow... trees covored in the stuff.... frozen puddles, frozen rivers and lakes.... a winter moon smiling on me!

the most delightful thing is that i will actually be able to experience the snow of minnesota this year. we are travelling home for a proper yuletide this year, and i am so chuffed!!! i simply can't wait! my eternal thanks are to jamie for plotting this trip home!

i beam with satisfaction merely thinking about it.

i love britain - i get a warmth from this land. it is full of history and good things. it has made me a better person.

i think it has also helped me to appreciate the good things in minnesota, and that usa has. the wilderness. the space... the range of weather.

all my friends back home are gone - one by one they have drifted completely away.sad, but interesting to think about!
